Zambia Kateshi Natural
Flavor Profile

Origin
Kateshi Coffee Farm, one of the very first coffee farms in Zambia, was established in 1972 near the village of Kateshi. At the time, its wet mill became the heart of coffee production in Northern Zambia, serving as a central processing facility for all coffee produced in the region. The farm is also highly awarded – its natural and honey processed coffees have earned 1st and 2nd place in the annual Zambian Taste of Harvest competition. Kateshi has also gained recognition for boldly challenging gender stereotypes in Zambia, as it is the first and only coffee farm in the country to employ women in traditionally male-dominated roles such as tractor, bulldozer, and road grader operators. In addition, the farm sponsors the Kateshi Coffee Bullets football team, which competes in Zambia’s first division.
