Origin

The Los Lajones farm is one of the most important projects of the renowned Panamanian coffee farmer Graciano Cruz and is located high in the mountains of the Boquete region beneath the Volcán Barú volcano. It is one of the first organically certified coffee farms in Panama, where Graciano grows several varieties including Catuaí. This variety is processed using the natural (dry) method, in which whole coffee cherries are dried without water on African beds, giving the resulting coffee intense sweetness and pronounced fruity notes. Catuaí from Los Lajones is known for its vibrancy, tropical fruit character, and clarity, reflecting both the high-altitude terroir of the farm and Graciano’s strong focus on sustainable and high-quality processing.
